TRENTON, N.J. (Philly) - The New Jersey Department of Health apologized Wednesday to medical marijuana patients for sending them an email that disclosed the email addresses , and in some cases, the names , of all the program participants.
The department said in a statement that it is working to avoid repeating the mistake.
The email, sent Tuesday, was the latest complication for the new program. The Health Department sent the email to advise patients that their required appointments preceding marijuana purchases will be made by Greenleaf Compassion Center in Montclair, not the state.
Some patients were angry about the communique that compromised their personal information.
VINELAND, N.J (CBSNewYork/AP) — Two southern New Jersey middle school students face drug possession charges after one boy allegedly gave the other a small bag of marijuana as a birthday gift.
Vineland police said the incident occurred earlier this month at the Wallace Middle School.
The two students, ages 12 and 13, were seen exchanging a small bag of marijuana in a school hallway.
Twelve year olds are fickle as shit. Do you fucking know how close they have to be for this kid to give him weed for his birthday?
Why don’t they just retire the Nets? Like, the fucking end.
(Philly) New Jersey health officials were upbeat on the day they announced that they were creating a long-awaited patient registry allowing seriously ill people to receive medical marijuana.
Within a couple of weeks, they predicted, eligible patients would be able to buy marijuana from the state’s first dispensary, Greenleaf Compassion Center.
That was more than three months ago.
Patients say they have encountered mostly silence since then as they have waited anxiously for the call saying the nonprofit dispensary in Montclair, Essex County, is open for business.
You only slow down when you see cops.
