Filthy Dungeon Where Taxi Driver Raped His Girlfriend’s Daughters And Killed 2 Other Children (WIDK)

(Louis Boyle, Daily Mail) — A Mexican man has been arrested after he allegedly kept the teenage daughters of his girlfriend captive for five years and fathered five children with one of the girls.
Jorge Iniestra Salas, a 32-year-old taxi driver, is also accused of beating one of the teenagers to death in 2009 and suffocating a three-month-old boy by forcing the baby to nurse on the dead girl’s body.
Prosecutors said Salas kept the bodies at his mother’s home in a slum of Mexico City for a month before he dumped them on a road in a neighboring state with the help of a brother.
Mexico City’s prosecutor for crimes against children said that authorities rescued another three-month-old boy who had been severely beaten and is in a critical condition in hospital.
The surviving sister, now 21, and her three other children, aged two, four and five, are being cared for by authorities.
The family were kept in a filthy room with planks covering the windows. Prosecutor Jorge Ferman said: ‘This is an imprisonment story, a story of captivity.’
Police have also arrested Salas’s mother, brothers and sisters and the girls’ mother for covering up the abuse and not allowing them to escape.
Salas allegedly became fixated on the two girls after starting a relationship with their mother Claudia Tapia, a 44-year-old school janitor, in 2004.
Salas soon moved in with the family which also included a son who he forced to work and often beat with a belt for not bringing home enough money.
In a chilling parallel to Austrian Josef Fritzl, prosecutors said he then stopped the girls going to school, moved them into his mother’s house and refused to let them outside in the Iztapalapa neighbourhood.
Tapia told reporters that Salas was manipulative and told her that he belonged to the middle-class and that men of that status could have several women living with them.
The part-time cab driver has been charged with homicide, kidnapping and child abuse. He faces up to 30 years in prison.
The girls’ mother ultimately lodged a complaint with police that led to their rescue.
The attorney general’s office says she was so terrorised that she gave her entire savings and her debit card to Salas.
Mr Mancera said that Tapia and her daughters were suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, when captives identify with their kidnappers.
They have allegedly defended Salas’s behaviour during questioning by prosecutors.

10-Year-Old Dies After Parents Refuse Him Water For FIVE Days As Punishment (WIDK)

(John Stevens, Daily Mail) — A 10-year-old boy collapsed and died in front of his twin brother after his parents refused to let him drink water for five day, it is claimed.
Jonathan James died from dehydration in Dallas after his father and step mother allegedly denied him water as punishment after he took some guitar strings from one of his siblings.
Michael Ray James and Tina Maria Alberson have been arrested and charged with injury to a child.
The boy’s grandmother said that his twin brother had wanted to help, but was afraid he would be punished too.
‘I did tell him, “I don’t want you to feel guilty because there’s nothing you could do.” And he says, “I wish I had snuck him some water”,’ Sue Shotwell told Fox Dallas-Fort Worth.
She said she is now concerned for the twin, who is called Joseph, because he watched his brother collapse and has been having nightmares reliving the moment he died.
The boys had been spending the summer with their biological father because of a custody arrangement.
Mrs Shotwell said they had been reluctant to go.
Jonathan James died on July 25 and was found by paramedics in a bath tub.
Family members told police that he had been trying to cool him off and that he had been feeling sick for a number of days.
But a medical examiner found that he had died from dehydration.
If convicted, James and Alberson could face up to 99 years in prison.

(E.D. Kain, Forbes Contributor) - Well it’s not exactly lemonade but it’ll do. Christopher Carr’s twelve-year-old stepson had set up a smoothie and green-tea stand near their house when they moved back to the States after the earthquake in Japan.
After they’d set up shop, Christopher took his daughter back inside to get some lunch, leaving his son to manage things at the stand.
After my daughter finished eating and as we approached the end of our street where the drink stand was, I could see from afar that the sign was pulled up and put away, the cooler was shut with everything which we had so carefully arranged on the tray table put away, and my stepson was huddled up and sitting on the rail, staring out between his knees at the ocean.
“What happened?” I asked when I got down there. I wondered if he had gotten discouraged that no one was buying his drinks or maybe that no one could understand his accent. Or maybe he was just lonely down there by himself.
“The police told me to pack up and go home,” he said. Or, more accurately I discovered after making a few phone calls, the town police swung by and wished him good luck, and then afterwards, “someone in brown” came by and made my stepson stop selling drinks at the end of our street, because this required a permit, and my stepson did not have a permit to sell drinks.
After hearing a little more from my stepson and talking to the town police, I discovered that it was the Massachusetts State Police that broke up our lemonade stand. After attempting several times to contact the State Police, I reached only answering machines. Apparently, having someone on call on weekends is not in the Massachusetts State Police’s budget (but breaking up lemonade stands is somehow cost-effective).
This may be the first case of state police shutting down a kid’s green-tea stand, but the list of lemonade stands being closed down by various government agencies is long and growing.
Lemonade stand shutdowns may not be the same violation of liberty that no-knock botched SWAT raids or the incarceration of innocent people are, but they reflect the same mentality. It’s the mentality that needs reforming. No simple task.
800 LB. Woman ‘Supersizing’ To Be The World’s Fattest Woman - But She’s Only Half Way There (WIDK)
(Daily Mail ) - Obese model Susanne Eman is saying ‘Supersize Me’ for real - in her bid to become the fattest woman ever.
The 728 pound bombshell aims to reach a whopping 1,600 lb, by guzzling at least 20,000 calories a day. Susanne, 32, from Arizona, USA, hopes to pass the half-way milestone of 800 pounds by the end of the year.
The single mother-of-two believes she’s already overtaken former biggest mom Donna Simpson, 43, from New Jersey, who weighs 700 pounds.
And Susanne - who is creating a stir among fans of ‘Super Size Big Beautiful Women’ (SSBBWs) - plans to increase her calorie-intake to keep gaining.
‘I’d love to find out if it’s humanly possible to reach a ton,’ she said. ‘A previous record holder was 1,600 lbs, so I have to be at least that. My next goal is to be 800 lbs by the end of the year. At my current rate of growth, I should be 1,600 pounds by age 41 or 42.’
Susanne visits the supermarket once a month with sons Gabriel, 16, and Brendin, 12, and spends up to eight hours filling six carts.
‘It’s like a full day’s work,’ said Susanne, who uses a motorised scooter, but astonishingly believes she can stay healthy.
She added: ‘The bigger I get, the better I feel. I feel more confident and sexy. Why shouldn’t I push the limits and see how fat I can get and stay healthy?’
Susanne’s bizarre mission began after she couldn’t stop gaining weight naturally.
‘Two years ago I hit 490 pounds because I was losing my battle against weight gain,’ she said.
‘I noticed I actually started attracting more men, and it made me feel good.’
The unemployed mother - who cannot work because of her weight - claims she stays active by doing simple exercises and having regular health checks.
‘I go for a waddle and do stretches and exercises every day,’ she said. ‘My muscles need to hold up to my weight, so I have to stay strong.
‘I take my blood pressure once a week, and every day, after I exercise, I take readings of my other vitals. I use a pulse oximeter to measure the concentration of oxygen in my blood stream.
‘And I take my blood sugar levels just like a diabetic. If either of the readings go above a certain level, I’ll immediately contact my doctor for advice.
‘If I was to get sick, I’ve arranged for my sister to take care of my kids.
‘I haven’t gone near the danger zones yet though.’
Despite warnings from her doctor that her bizarre experiment could kill her, Susanne insists she wants to break the record.
Dr Patrick Flite said: ‘She’s really playing Russian roulette with her life with this goal. There are well-documented complications that come with morbid obesity.
‘I would never encourage anyone to be doing what Susanne is doing.’
Dr Flite said Susanne’s medical checks showed no current problems, adding: ‘She’s capable of making her own decisions. I don’t see any psychiatric problems or anything else wrong.’
But Susanne admitted she’s taken steps to protect her children in the future.
‘The boys do notice my diet and that I eat more each day,’ she said.
‘I tell them that everybody likes different things. If I’m making something fatty and they want something healthy, then I make us different meals.’
Susanne even acts as an online agony aunt for other potential SSBBWs.
‘I want to break the stigma that being fat is a bad thing,’ she said. ‘I remind other fat people that it is OK for them to be that way.
‘The message I want to get across is for people to accept others for who they are.’
